February Box: Valentine’s Day

Hello friends!


We made it to February! January simultaneously felt like the longest and shortest month ever, somehow. I have to admit that the weird “too-long/too-short-January-paradox” threw me off, and I thought I had way more time to get these macarons done this month. Shout out to my lovely husband for holding things down while I hustled! 🙏🏽

Speaking of lovely husbands, February is obviously associated with love and Valentine’s Day, which obviously inspired this month’s flavors.

So let’s get into it! The flavors are:

Chocolate Salted Caramel

Chocolate macarons dipped in Callebaut gold chocolate, topped with a sprinkling of Maldon salt, filled with salted caramel French buttercream and chewy salted caramel

Ingredients: almonds, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch, eggs, cane sugar, Dutch processed cocoa powder, butter, brown sugar (cane sugar, molasses), corn syrup, Ghirardelli salted caramel (Corn Syrup, Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sugar, Skim Milk, Heavy Cream, Sea Salt, Salt, Natural Flavor, Pectin, Disodium Phosphate), Callebaut gold chocolate (White chocolate with caramel (Min. cocoa 30.4%) Cocoa butter, sugar, whole milk powder, milk sugar, whey powder (milk), skimmed milk powder, caramelised sugar (2%), emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring, salt), Maldon sea salt

Dark Chocolate Strawberry 🍓

A chocolate macaron, filled with strawberry buttercream, dipped in Guittard dark chocolate, drizzled with Callebaut Ruby chocolate, and sprinkled with freeze dried strawberry crumbles.

Ingredients: almonds, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch, eggs, cane sugar, Dutch processed cocoa powder, butter, natural flavorings, Guittard dark chocolate a’peels (sugar, palm kernal and palm oils, cocoa processed with potassium carbonate, nonfat milk, sunflower lecithin and vanilla.), Callebaut ruby chocolate (Cocoa butter, sugar, non fat dry milk, whole milk powder, unsweetened chocolate, soy lecithin, citric acid, natural vanilla flavor.), freeze dried strawberries

Molten Chocolate Lava

Chocolate macarons filled with chocolate buttercream and chocolate ganache, dusted with powdered sugar

Ingredients: almonds, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), eggs, cane sugar, Dutch processed cocoa powder, butter, heavy whipping cream, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, semisweet chocolate, salt

Peaches & Cream 🍑

Peach flavored macarons, filled with a vanilla sweet cream buttercream (with a hint of cinnamon) and peach compote, dipped in white chocolate.

Ingredients: almonds, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), eggs, cane sugar, butter, pasteurized egg whites, Ghirardelli white melting wafers (Cane sugar, vegetable oil (hydrogenated palm kernel and palm oil, glyceryl lacto esters), nonfat dry milk, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, salt, natural flavor), vanilla bean paste, peaches, brown sugar (cane sugar, molasses), lemon juice, cinnamon, salt, natural flavorings

Pistachio Rose

Pistachio macarons filled with rose buttercream, topped with white chocolate drizzle, crushed pistachios and dried organic rose petals

Ingredients: almonds, tree nuts (pistachios), eggs, powdered sugar (cane sugar, cornstarch), cane sugar, organic edible rose petals, rose water, butter, natural flavoring, Ghirardelli white melting wafers (Cane sugar, vegetable oil (hydrogenated palm kernel and palm oil, glyceryl lacto esters), nonfat dry milk, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, salt, natural flavor)

Raspberries & Champagne

Raspberry macarons, filled with champagne white chocolate and seedless raspberry jam. Drizzled with white chocolate and sprinkled with organic freeze dried raspberry crumbles.

Ingredients: almonds, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), eggs, cane sugar, Callebaut white chocolate (sugar, cocoa fat, dry while milk, soy lecithin added as emulsifier, natural vanilla flavor.), heavy whipping cream, butter, natural flavorings, Ghirardelli white melting wafers (Cane sugar, vegetable oil (hydrogenated palm kernel and palm oil, glyceryl lacto esters), nonfat dry milk, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, salt, natural flavor), organic freeze dried raspberries


And the special treat this month is a s’mores kit, featuring the DIVINE, fluffy, melty marshmallows by Fluft! The owner, Kim, is actually a macaron box subscriber, too, so you know she’s got good taste. 💅🏾
