Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Where are you located?

A. I am located in The Shores, Ocala, Florida.

Q. Do you ship your products?

A. At this time, I do not ship most of my products. I allow shipping for the macaron subscription boxes, but there are currently no spaces available. I’m considering expanding shipping in the future, as the Florida Cottage Law has recently changed to allow shipping within Florida and out of state.

Q. Do your cookies come in a bag?

A. Yes! Each regular-sized cookie is placed in a plastic bag and is heat-sealed to maintain freshness. Cookies stay fresh in their heat-sealed bags for at least 2 weeks, when kept in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

I don’t often make mini cookies, but when I do, 2-4 may be placed in one bag, and then they’re heat-sealed.

Q. Do your cookies come in a box?

A. Yes, after the cookies are bagged, they’re placed in a bakery box with decorative shredded paper.

Q. If I send you a picture of cookies I love, can you make some that look exactly like the picture?

A. I can use pictures you send as inspiration, but I do not make exact replicas of cookies made by other businesses.

Q. When should I pay?

A. Either a full payment or non refundable 50% deposit is due at the time the order is placed, in order to reserve your requested date. This allows me to purchase any necessary items (such as specialty cookie cutters, stencils, or supplies) for your order. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of the invoice being sent, your invoice will be cancelled and another order may fill your requested date. The other 50% of the payment is due one week prior to your arranged pickup date. I will not start working on your order until it’s paid in full.

Q. How do I pay?

A. You can pay for some items directly through my shop, under the “Shop” tab on this website. Custom orders will receive an invoice through Square.

Q. When should I order custom cookies?

A. Ideally, you should order 2-3 months in advance. I recently made the decision to only accept 1 or 2 custom cookie orders per month, which means I’m getting booked much more quickly for custom cookies.

Q. Do macarons need to be refrigerated?

A. Macarons are fine if left out at room temperate, in an air-tight container for up to 2 days. I do recommend that you refrigerate them after 1-2 days, to prevent them from going stale and to prolong the shelf life. They can also be frozen for months.
