January Box: New Years Eve in Times Square
Hey besties!
We’ve made it to the end of 2021!!! I know it’s been a painful, difficult year for many, but I also hope that you have some happy memories to look back on. Good or bad, each day is such a gift! And it’s truly such a gift to have you and your ongoing support! I wish you happiness and health in 2022. 🥰
With that being said, I hope these flavors bring you a little happiness as well! They’re all inspired by iconic New York City desserts, in honor of the annual ball drop in Times Square! Here’s the lineup:
Black & White Cookie
One vanilla macaron shell and one chocolate macaron shell, filled with black and white cookie butter
Red Velvet Donut
Red velvet flavored macarons, topped with cream cheese glaze, filled with red velvet cream cheese buttercream
NYC Style Cheesecake
Graham cracker macarons, filled with real NY style cheesecake
Spumoni
One pistachio macaron shell and one chocolate macaron shell, filled with rich, pistachio-cherry French buttercream.
(Levain Bakery-style) dark chocolate peanut butter cookie
Chocolate macarons, filled with GF dark chocolate peanut butter cookie butter
(Magnolia Bakery-inspired) Banana pudding
GF vanilla wafer flavored macarons, topped with GF vanilla wafer and banana chip crumbs and filled with vanilla French buttercream, bananas and GF vanilla wafers
And of course, the extra treat for the month is a DECADENT Levain Bakery-style cookie. The cookie is NOT gluten free! I made both Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip. Levain Bakery is known for their Chocolate Chip Walnut cookies, but I can’t stand walnuts. 🙊 So I used toffee instead. Close enough. 😅
