April Box: Easter Candy & Spring Desserts
Well hello again! And hello to new members! Lots of exciting things have been happening over here. I did my first market at the Nice Ladies market downtown, on March 10th. The event was a huge success, and I feel so grateful to have been a part of it!
I also got re-admitted into the UF Online program, and I’m finally going to finish up my last few classes to graduate with my BS in Business! I won’t be accepting any new custom orders for a while, but don’t worry: I still plan to do these subscription boxes as long as possible!
My very first cookie decorating class was on Saturday, April 2nd at Hammer & Stain Ocala! If you weren’t able to make this class, don’t worry. I still plan to teach some macaron classes (bring your own mixers? 😅) and do more cookie decorating classes throughout the year…if I’m not drowning in school work. 😅
Anyways! The moment you’ve all been waiting for…
Cadbury Creme
Vanilla macarons, filled with chocolate buttercream and Cadbury crème.
Carrot Cake
carrot cake macarons, filled with spiced cream cheese buttercream, topped with a white chocolate drizzle and nonpareils. (This font size came out so large, and I cannot fix it. 😐)
Chocolate Malt (NOT GF)
I always attempt to make my macarons gluten-friendly. I never realized that malted milk powder is made with barley! I assumed malted milk was just a special way of dehydrating milk. 🤦🏽♀️ I apologize if you’re trying to avoid eating gluten.
These are chocolate macarons, topped with a white chocolate drizzle and malted milk egg pieces, filled with chocolate malt buttercream.
Cotton Candy Marshmallow
Cotton candy macarons (made with real cotton candy machine sugar), filled with cotton candy-marshmallow buttercream.
Hummingbird
Spiced banana flavored macarons, topped with brown sugar-cinnamon-pecan crumble, filled with banana pineapple buttercream and pineapple jam.
Key Lime Pie
Key lime flavored macarons, topped with white chocolate drizzle and gluten free graham cracker crumbs, filled with key lime curd buttercream
