Macarons (often confused with macaroons) are little sandwich cookies, made from egg whites, almond flour, and sugar. The fillings are homemade, with fresh ingredients rather than artificial flavorings, whenever possible.
Macarons must be refrigerated. They can be kept in the fridge for up to one week, or they can be frozen for up to one month. If frozen, allow the macarons to thaw to room temperature before consuming.
