September Box: Fall Favorites

Hey besties!

Ok so I’m pretty sure I started these macaron subscription boxes last September? Meaning it’s been a whole year now?? Crazy! Some of you have been subscribers from the beginning, and some of you are newer. Either way, I appreciate you all so much! 🥹

You may or may not know this, but I’m having surgery on my ankle on September 16th. I have no idea what to expect in terms of recovery time, so the October boxes will be ready in about 2 weeks, instead of in early October. I’m praying I’ll be healed enough to have the November boxes done at the regular time. I’ll keep you updated. 😅

Anyways, about the September macarons:

I’m apparently one of the few people who prefers practically every other season over Autumn, but I can’t deny that I LOVE the fall flavors! I hope you can taste the love. 😊 Let me know which ones were your favorites! Let’s get to it:

Brown Butter Caramel Latte

espresso flavored shells, filled with brown butter caramel buttercream and brown butter caramel

Butter Pecan Blondie

butter pecan flavored macarons, topped with butter pecan cream cheese glaze and pecan praline bits, filled with vanilla bean buttercream

Dutch Apple Pie

Apple spice flavored macarons, topped with apple cinnamon streusel, filled with vanilla buttercream and apple pie filling. These are really soft due to the apple pie filling, so pick them up carefully!

Maple Brown Sugar

brown sugar maple flavored macarons, topped with brown sugar, filled with brown sugar buttercream, drizzled with maple brown sugar glaze

Pumpkin Pie

pumpkin spice macarons, filled with pumpkin pie buttercream. This one is also really soft, due to the pumpkin. 😐

Pumpkin Spice Latte

pumpkin spice espresso flavored shells with whipped vanilla buttercream. I realize it looks very similar to the Brown Butter Latte. This one has a dusting of pumpkin spice on top, so I hope that helps to tell them apart. 😬

And the surprise treat this month is a maple pecan blondie with a side of maple glaze. The glaze is unfortunate reallyyyyy sweet. Proceed with caution. 😅 But if you want to go all in, I recommend heating up the blondie with the glaze on top, sprinkle in some chopped pecans or pralines, and top with vanilla ice cream. Or skip the glaze, but 100% still pair the warmed up blondie with some ice cream and pralines if you can. So good 🤤
